When the Governor shut down Colorado, many businesses did not have the cash flow to pay 2019 taxes with 2020 revenues, forcing some business owners to consider closing their doors forever.

My Bill 1421 will allow you to extend payment on your property taxes on October 1st without penalties and minimal interest so that you can get back on your feet.

For many business owners, this change in law was the difference between bankruptcy, shedding more jobs, or even closing the doors forever.
